Thunder Rally to Eke Out Win

The Toronto Thunder wiggled past the Hollywood Shredders, 4-3, in 11 innings at Thunder Field. The win was highlighted by the performance of Toronto pitcher Tai sun Rang. Toronto pitcher Ken Irvin got the win. He's now 4-0. Mark Sims was tagged with the loss. The setback makes Hollywood 20-16.
Up to bat in the bottom of the 11th, Michael Barry wanted to seize the moment and deliver a clutch hit. Hollywood pitcher Mark Sims had other ideas. He wanted to end the Toronto rally. What happened next? With one out, Barry hit a sacrifice fly -- and the Thunder erupted in celebration.
"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Rang. "Successful pitchers do it."
