Ellenburg pitcher Gilbert Owen had a large part in his team subduing the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, 4-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. The winner was Owen. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Alfredo Pérez. The Squirrel Monkeys drop to 9-9 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2063 season.
