Toledo Absorbs 7-1 Loss to Seattle
|
Seattle starter Jason Cox put a stranglehold on the Toledo offense. The right-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Rocketeers to a 7-1 win. Cox got the win, improving to 3-2. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. At 18-18, the Rocketeers find themselves in 8th place in the Premier League.
Vincent Green, who is tied for 2nd in the PL in doubles with 10, chipped in a solo home run for Seattle in the top of the first. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"I was able to fill up the zone," said Cox.
