Panama City third baseman Ishaan Swan played a vital role in his team's 8-6 triumph over Ft. Worth. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Panama City. Min Der earned the save, his 4th. The 7th-place Piranhas improved to 17-19.

Panama City used the bat of Dwayne Foll to capture the win. The right fielder jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Piranhas ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

Piranhas manager Brian Talamante wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
