Dogfish Head Get One-Run Win at Monongahela
The Milton Dogfish Head took Monongahela pitcher Manuel Peña's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Timber Hawks Ballpark. The final score had Milton getting past the Monsters, 4-3. Peña went 8 innings and allowed 4 runs, striking out 6. Anthony Carney sewed up the save, his 1st. The Monsters drop to 9-10 and continue their mediocre start to the 2054 season.

Milton used a well-timed hit by Héctor Ancelno to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Dogfish Head ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"We put together a nice win," Ancelno said.
