Daig Tames Thunder
Zander Daig was outstanding against Toronto. The right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the PL in quality starts with 5, had a cutter that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a White Walkers 4-0 win. The third-place White Walkers improved to 20-17.

The Thunder had little chance against Daig, who overpowered Toronto hitters and struck out 10.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Buffalo manager Chris Lau. "That's what Zander is right now."
