A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Toronto Thunder and Boston Patriots.

Toronto turned a good effort from starter Chih Hoong into a win over the Boston Patriots at Dunkin Donuts Park. The final score was 6-2. Toronto has a record of 21-16, placing them second in the Premier League.

Toronto used a clutch at-bat from Lance Slaymaker to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Thunder ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We had a nice day," said Toronto skipper Jordan Smith.
