Flyers Suffer 7-4 Home Defeat

A 3-RBI performance from left fielder Brad Stannard led the Baton Rouge Brass to a win over the Pennsauken Flyers, 7-4. The winning pitcher was Jorge Valdéz. He's now 1-0. He went 5 innings, allowing 3 runs on 11 hits for the Brass. Tai sun Huo wrapped it up, recording his 5th save.
Tak-keung Zha helped out the Baton Rouge cause in the top of the third inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 2 with 2 walks. He scored 2 times.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Stannard.
