White Walkers Down Thunder, 4-3
|
Toronto got a terrific game from first baseman Ánibal Hernández. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Buffalo, 4-3, in 10 innings. Hernández hit 2 home runs. Buffalo reliever Joaquín Herrera was the winner. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Ken Irvin. Buffalo's record now stands at 21-17, placing them first in the Premier League.
The clutch hit was provided by Iverson Allen. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Ken Irvin in the bottom of the tenth.
"Exciting game to play in," said Allen. "Getting the win makes it even better."
