Mockingbirds Suffer 6-3 Road Loss
The New Orleans Voodoo picked up a win at The Voodoo Lounge, knocking off the Memphis Mockingbirds, 6-3. Starting pitcher Juan Castillo played a key role in the triumph. Jared Wilson was credited with the save for New Orleans, his 2nd of the season. The win has New Orleans at 2-2.

The Voodoo got a big at-bat from center fielder Saikaku Kato. For the game, Kato was 3 for 4 with 3 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave New Orleans a 3-1 lead.

"Juan did a really nice job of taking the ball and giving us a chance to win the game," said New Orleans manager Chase Sims.
