Voodoo Sunk by Cattlemen
Starting pitcher Qu-bing Li was a major factor in the 4-0 Ft. Worth Cattlemen triumph over the New Orleans Voodoo. Earning his 1st save of the year was Urmas Koskela. The loss makes New Orleans 24-14.

Lautaro Lacasa had a big solo home run for the Cattlemen in the bottom of the third inning. With Ft. Worth leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Al Hussey and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Cattlemen on top, 2-0.

Ft. Worth manager Scott Thompson commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
