Spirited fans greeted the Syracuse Starks for their clash with the Norfolk Pajaritos.

Cisco Morales pitched well, but his team, the Syracuse Starks, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the Norfolk Pajaritos at Stark Stadium. Mario Pérez picked up his 2nd save of the season.

Norfolk used the timely hitting of Jesús González to capture the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pajaritos on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.

"We put together a nice win," González said.

After today's action, Norfolk sits at 11-13; Syracuse slips to 10-14.
