Buffalo Offense Sputters in 6-0 Loss
|
The Buffalo White Walkers had their hands full with Toronto Thunder starter Dong-hoon An, who frustrated Buffalo hitters while leading Toronto to a comfortable, 6-0 win. The winning pitcher was An, now 3-3. He tossed 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 6. At 22-17, the Thunder are currently first in the Premier League.
Early in the game, center fielder Fuzzy Benas had a 2-run home run for Toronto. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Thunder on top, 2-0.
"Dong-hoon set the tone," said Jordan Smith, the Thunder manager.
