Pride Park was host to some action-packed drama.

The Pennsauken Flyers got a sterling performance from pitcher Rex Manning, but the Hartford Pride still prevailed, 8-7. Manning threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The Pride are now 9-16.

The Pride were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 26-year old center fielder Barrett Thomas landed a big blow. He turned a 0-1 fastball from Claudio Cortés into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Pride Park denizens into a frenzy and sent the Pride home with a thrilling 8-7 win.

"The crowd was juiced," said Thomas.
