Hollywood right-hander Yoshitaka Shinohara helped his team edge Toledo by the score of 3-2. Shinohara kept the opposing lineup in check. The loss makes Toledo 23-16.

Almansa, Spain-born Luis Solís came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the eighth, with the bases loaded and the Shredders trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single to center to put Hollywood on top.
