The Richland Rails got their 2062 M3L Double A season off to a good start, defeating the Westwood Sixshooters, 7-5. Warren Sharp set the pace. He went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Richland reliever Jorge Romano snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Joe Smith shouldered the loss.

Sharp contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Richland get the win.

"I still think this team can play even better," Sharp told the Richland Chronicle.
