The future looks extremely bright for Jacob Pugh. At the age of 22, many players are still trying to find their way in M3L Double A.
Pugh has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the M3L Double A Outstanding Hitter Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .295 this year, that's for sure," the shortstop said.
The Richland Rails star also put up a .369 on-base percentage this year, with 112 hits, 17 doubles, 3 triples, 13 home runs, 64 RBIs and 62 runs scored.
He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ronald Harris of the Lancaster Farmers finished second in voting, while Todd Davis of the Tacoma Fur Traders finished third.
