The Hollywood Shredders bombarded the Mexico City Blue Demons, 14-1, at The Hollywood Bowl. Leading the blitz was Elvin Baldwin. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 5 for Hollywood. Roy Huntingford earned the win to go to 6-1. Baldwin brought the fans to their feet in the bottom of the third, when the 25-year old first baseman ripped a 3-run home run. The round-tripper put Hollywood ahead, 4-1.
