A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Milton Dogfish Head and Baton Rouge Brass.

Milton starter Timothy Dean pitched well against the Baton Rouge Brass at Brass Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-4. Dean, now 3-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs.

Milton took a 7-4 lead on Nathan Pretty's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Baton Rouge pitcher Matt Jenkins in the top of the ninth.

"Scoring runs is scoring runs," said Milton skipper Gonzalo Velásquez. "It's important to have different ways to do it."

The Dogfish Head, at 12-15, sit in 6th place in the Premier AAA.
