Led by Baden Baldwin, the New Orleans Voodoo defeated the Detroit Elite, 10-5. Baldwin went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Voodoo. Jesús Rosas earned the win for New Orleans. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 7-2. New Orleans, at 23-16, occupies third place in the Premier League.

New Orleans used a well-timed hit by Matt Bane to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Voodoo ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Every manager loves to see an offensive outburst from his team," said New Orleans skipper Chase Sims.
