The Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds and Jersey City Tritons left the fans buzzing.

The Jersey City Tritons downed the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds, 11-1. The hitting star was first baseman Panas Rubanenko. Rubanenko was 3-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for the Tritons. The Tritons have an impressive 18-10 record.

With Jersey City leading 7-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Rubanenko came up to bat against Ellenburg pitcher Michael Pace. Rubanenko hit a splitter to right for a grand slam home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Tritons on top, 11-0.

"I think it just wasn't our night," said Ellenburg skipper Pedro Rodríguez.
