Nobles Suffer 5-2 Road Loss
|
Pennsauken pitcher Rodrigo Herrera did his part in helping his team defeat the Bakersfield Nobles, 5-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. With the victory, the Flyers upped their record to 14-14.
Preston Wilson had a big 2-run double for the Flyers in the bottom of the third inning. With Pennsauken leading 2-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Aaron Daniels, who is tied for 7th in the PAAA in quality starts with 3, and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Flyers ahead, 4-1.
Herrera attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
