Grey Wolves Stymied by Patriots, Lahti
The Boston Patriots downed the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 7-0, at Dunkin Donuts Park. Stellar pitching by Iiri Lahti had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who led the PL in strikeouts with 186 in 2052, handcuffed his opponent all game. The win elevated the Patriots to 31-9.

Lahti gave Boston a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7.1 innings.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Lahti.
