A 4-RBI performance from the 22-year old first baseman Brian Neame helped the Bakersfield Nobles beat the Baton Rouge Brass, 8-1. Lorenzo Castillo earned the save, his 2nd, for the Nobles. Bakersfield is now 18-11, while Baton Rouge is 13-16.

With Bakersfield leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Neame came up to bat against Baton Rouge pitcher Jeff Lynch. Neame hit a fastball to center for a bases-clearing double. His 2nd double of the season put the Nobles on top, 4-0.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Neame.
