Hussey Now 3-0 Following 4-1 Win
|
New Orleans picked up a win at The Voodoo Lounge, bumping off the Seattle Rocketeers, 4-1. Pitcher Al Hussey was a major reason the Voodoo emerged victorious. The win gives New Orleans a season record of 22-18.
Hussey was effective for New Orleans, seldom allowing the Rocketeers to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 90 pitches over 8 innings. He limited Seattle to just 1 run on 4 hits.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Seattle manager Andrew Powell.
