A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Plymouth Rocks and Sioux Falls Red Pandas.

Plymouth starter Josh Sargent put a stranglehold on the Sioux Falls offense. The right-hander had complete command of his splitter in leading the Rocks to a 5-1 win. In 7.1 innings, Sargent surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run.

Plymouth relied on the hitting of Ming Que to pick up the win. The second baseman ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the fourth inning to put the Rocks on top, 2-0. For the game, Que had 1 triple and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"It's a mindset," said Sargent. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."

The first-place Rocks improved to 21-11.
