The Philadelphia Liberty Reserves and Pennsauken Flyers played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.

In a tight tilt between Philadelphia and Pennsauken, pitcher Manuel Juárez was a key contributor. The left-hander earned accolades for his standout performance in the 2-1 Liberty Reserves win. The winner was Juárez. He threw 8.0 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Rodrigo Herrera.

Philadelphia took a 2-1 lead on Octávio Sandoval's 7th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Sandoval hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Pennsauken pitcher Rodrigo Herrera visibly frustrated.

"Manuel did a good job mixing and matching," said Philadelphia manager Kiril Neuvel.

The second-place Liberty Reserves hiked their record to 20-13.
