Mustard Impressive in Baton Rouge Win
|
Pennsauken Park hosted an old-fashioned pitchers' duel.
John Mustard was on the winning side of a pitcher's duel at Pennsauken Park. In fact, the Baton Rouge Brass right-hander was instrumental in his team's 2-0 victory over the Pennsauken Flyers. The Brass, at 22-12, lead by one game in their division.
Mustard picked up the win. He's now 3-0, after putting the Pennsauken offense in the deep freeze. Over 7.1 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 2 hits.
"John gave us everything he had," said Baton Rouge manager Luis Ruíz.
