Dodman Now 3-3 After Subduing Redlegs
|
Bakersfield Nobles starter Ed Dodman hurled his team past the Sacramento Redlegs, 2-1. Picking up the save was 33-year old right-handed pitcher Francisco Encarnación. Bakersfield goes to 14-20, Sacramento to 19-15.
Dodman allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 8 innings for the Nobles. With the win, he is 3-3 with an ERA of 3.92.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Bakersfield manager Timmy Appeldoorn.
