Brass Rally to Win
The Baton Rouge Brass faced a tough opponent in Pennsauken pitcher Wulf Hinkamp, but found a way to pull out the victory at Pennsauken Park by a final score of 6-4 in 11 innings. Hinkamp went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Dexter Yates earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. Baton Rouge now owns a record of 23-12.

Baton Rouge used the timely hitting of Carlos Román to capture the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Brass on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.

"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Brass manager Luis Ruíz.
