Buffalo turned a fine outing from starter Zander Daig into a victory over the Toronto Thunder at Beyond the Wall. The final score was 2-0. Daig got the win, improving to 4-2. He gave up 3 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. He allowed no runs. Picking up his 2nd save was 25-year old left-handed pitcher Jerome Field.

The Thunder had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the White Walkers going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 2051 Newcomer of the Year Award winner Andrés Durán came to the plate. Durán hit a solo home run on a first pitch fastball from Toronto hurler Brandon Fox. It was Durán's 5th home run of the year.

Buffalo manager Chris Lau commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."

Buffalo goes to 19-22, Toronto to 24-17.
