Starks Get 5-1 Win Versus Jersey City
The Syracuse Starks defeated the Jersey City Tritons, 5-1, in USPL Triple A action at Stark Stadium. Kyung-chul Son pulled his weight. The 1-year veteran went 2-3 with a home run, while scoring 2 times. Ben van de Loo came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Syracuse sits in 8th place in the Premier AAA at 14-21.

Matt Dunham was 1-4. He drove in 2 runs for Syracuse. In the bottom of the third, with the teams deadlocked, 0-0, Dunham delivered for the Starks. His run-scoring ground out put Syracuse on top, 1-0.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Son told the Syracuse Bulletin.
