Tritons Lose to Starks in Walk-Off
The Syracuse Starks saddled the Jersey City Tritons with a loss at Stark Stadium. The final score was 8-6. Carlos Sánchez was 3 for 5, including 2 singles and 1 home run. The Syracuse third baseman scored 1 run and drove in 6. At 18-17, the Starks are currently 5th in the Premier AAA.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Syracuse trailing 6-4, Sánchez hit a fastball from Steffen Benton for a grand slam home run, giving the Starks the walk-off win.

"Sometimes you get the ball in the right spot and it goes," said Sánchez.
