The Baton Rouge Brass picked up a win at Drummers Ballpark, courtesy of Ramón Marte. The right-hander helped his team stop the Tortolita Drummers, 2-1. Baton Rouge has a record of 17-18, placing them 4th in the Premier AAA.

Baton Rouge used a well-timed hit by Yoshihito Kimura to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Brass ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
