The Bakersfield Nobles got a stellar effort from pitcher David Sullivan, helping Bakersfield score a win over the visiting Sacramento Redlegs, 5-1. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Nobles.

Nobuo Kobayashi took Sacramento hurler Dustin Burgess deep in the bottom of the fifth. His grand slam home run put the Nobles on top, 5-1. In all, Kobayashi had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
