Starting pitcher Uhi Ahipene took care of business, helping the Pennsauken Flyers stifle the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds, 2-1. Pennsauken reliever Adrián Correa picked up the win. Fernando Ríos took the loss for Ellenburg. The Flyers, at 19-17, have now won 6 straight.

Pennsauken took the lead, 2-1, on Mel Kiper III's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Ellenburg pitcher Fernando Ríos in the bottom of the eighth.

"Uhi was pretty good at keeping their guys off-balance," said Pennsauken manager Dave Morse.
