Ashley Remington had an impressive outing at Lynx Stadium, hurling the Calgary Lynx to a 1-0 shutout victory over the Sacramento Redlegs.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Sacramento skipper Luis Ríos said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
On the day, the right-handed Remington yielded 3 hits and tallied no strikeouts with 2 walks.
