Rainbow Mermaids Suffer One-Run Loss at Boston
|
Boston pitcher Jesús Ramírez had a large part in his team beating the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 4-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. With this game in the books, Boston is 24-17, Northern Virginia 17-24.
Matt Craig contributed to the Boston win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
