The Bakersfield Nobles knocked off the Baton Rouge Brass, 2-1, in USPL Triple A action at Brass Field. Bakersfield pitcher and Hwasun, South Korea, native Han-soo Yang had an outstanding performance. Jared Wilson earned the save for Bakersfield. Bakersfield, at 22-16, sits in third place in the Premier AAA.

Nelson McCullough made it 2-1, in favor of Bakersfield when he delivered a solo home run. It came with two out in the top of the eighth. The Nobles went on to win.

"Tough loss," said Baton Rouge manager Luis Ruíz. "Tough one to swallow."
