Sacramento turned a good effort from starter Josh Barnette into a win over the Syracuse Starks at Stark Stadium. The Redlegs won the game, 4-2. The Redlegs have an impressive 25-15 record.

Ricardo Cantú, who leads the PAAA with a .777 slugging percentage, had a direct impact on the outcome. Cantú contributed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put Sacramento up, 1-0.
