Fighting Dachshunds Walk It Off for 23rd Win of Season
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds beat the Syracuse Starks, 8-7, in part because of first baseman Tyler Harmon. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The win belonged to Claude Richardson in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Ben van de Loo took the loss for Syracuse. The 4th-place Fighting Dachshunds now have a win-loss record of 23-17.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Harmon hit a fastball from Ben van de Loo for a run-scoring single. The Fighting Dachshunds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
