Pennsauken Flyers starter Bob McCann turned in a top-notch performance against the Sacramento Redlegs at Sacramento Sanitation Station. The result was a win for the Flyers, 4-1. The winning pitcher was McCann, now 3-0. He tossed 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 8. The loss makes Sacramento 15-27.

Phil Thomas dealt the Redlegs a blow in the top of the second. Batting with the bases loaded and Pennsauken leading 1-0, Thomas, who is tied for 10th in the PAAA in home runs with 6, hit a 1-1 sinker for a 2-run single.
