The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks started the 2058 season not with a bang but with a whimper, falling, 10-1, to the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. Center Fielder Andrew Clark was the top performer for Chesapeake.

With Chesapeake leading 4-1 in the top of the fourth, Clark hit a fastball from Bobby Mixson for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Cangrejos Fantasmas ahead, 7-1.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Clark told the Chesapeake Daily News.
