Condor Nest was the site of a tense game between the Mexico City Blue Demons and New Orleans Voodoo.

Jeff McFarland pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Mexico City Blue Demons, despite McFarland's fine outing, dropped a 3-1 decision to the New Orleans Voodoo at Condor Nest. Bob Flannery snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit over 3 innings. He's now 1-3 on the season.

New Orleans used a well-timed hit by Janpey Kille to capture the win. The left fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Voodoo ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

Kille attributed the win to his team's "tenacity."

New Orleans is now 22-20, while Mexico City is 19-23.
