Gutiérrez Goes Distance in 6-1 Win
The Sacramento Redlegs downed the Baton Rouge Brass, 6-1, at Brass Field. Stellar pitching by Arturo Gutiérrez had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 3rd in the PAAA in complete games with 1, handcuffed his opponent all game. The second-place Redlegs hiked their record to 26-16.

Gutiérrez pitched a complete game for Sacramento. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 5 hits. He struck out 6 during his 98-pitch performance.
