José Zamora, who is tied for 3rd in the PAAA in wins with 4, propelled his team to victory over the Norfolk Pajaritos. The final score was 4-3, Baton Rouge. The Brass saw their record improve to 28-14.

In the bottom of the second inning, shortstop Brad Vaughn had a 2-run home run for Baton Rouge. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Brass on top, 2-1.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Norfolk manager Phil Baker.
