Stark Stadium was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

Yoshitaka Shinohara, who is tied for 5th in the PAAA in strikeouts with 48, played a key role in a gritty 1-0 Sacramento Redlegs win against the Syracuse Starks. Sacramento is now 25-19.

The Redlegs got a big at-bat from left fielder Miguel Núñez. For the game, Núñez went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. In the top of the second, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Sacramento a 1-0 lead.

Sacramento manager Kyle Lucas called it "a good, solid win."
