The Pennsauken Flyers defeated the Montreal Machine, 10-5, in part because of right fielder Preston Wilson. Wilson went 2-5 with a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Flyers. George Boyce picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 5 runs on 9 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 1-1. With the win, Pennsauken goes to 22-23, while the Machine fall to 20-25.

With Pennsauken leading 3-2 in the top of the fourth, Wilson hit a 2-run single off Montreal hurler Kevin Brown. It was the 42nd hit of the season for Wilson and put his team ahead, 5-2.
