The Norfolk Pajaritos handed the Nashville Hot Chickens a loss at Hot Chickens Park. The final score was 5-1. Ofa Paulo was one of the major contributors for Norfolk. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 3. The winning pitcher was 28-year old right-handed pitcher Louis Bainbridge. He tossed 101 pitches over 5.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 8 hits. Picking up his 1st save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Doug Morgan.
In the first inning, Paulo had a 3-run home run for Norfolk. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Pajaritos on top, 3-0.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Paulo told a Norfolk Gazette reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
