|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Baton Rouge Brass and the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds, Arthur Ward, who leads the PAAA in wins with 6, was the difference-maker. The Baton Rouge left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. The winning continues for Baton Rouge, with the latest triumph making it 7 straight.
Gerard Hurd, who is tied for 2nd in the PAAA in stolen bases with 6, had a direct impact on the outcome. Hurd contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning to put Baton Rouge up, 2-1.
