Nobles Lose By a Run at Pennsauken
|
The Pennsauken Flyers earned a close win over the Bakersfield Nobles, thanks in part to Wulf Hinkamp. The Pennsauken right-hander, who is tied for 7th in the PAAA with a 1.06 WHIP, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. The second-place Flyers sport a record of 28-18.
Jorge Ybarra, who is tied for 9th in the PAAA in RBI with 22, contributed to the Pennsauken win with a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Pennsauken manager Dave Morse.
