Colorado starter Juan Cruz kept the Hollywood offense from doing much damage. The right-hander leaned on his curveball in leading the Billy Goats to a 4-0 win. Tamasaburo Kishita locked down his 1st save. The Shredders, now 16-27, have lost 4 straight.

Phil Fields dealt the Shredders a blow in the top of the fourth. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Colorado leading 1-0, Fields, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2059 draft, hit a 0-1 cutter for a run-scoring single.

"When Juan is on, he can really move the ball around," said Colorado manager Mack Kilkeary.
