Flyers Deal Squirrel Monkeys 5-3 Setback
The Pennsauken Flyers dealt the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys a 5-3 loss at Pennsauken Park. Mel Kiper III was the star on offense. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Rich Banks earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. Pennsauken, at 24-24, occupies 6th place in the Premier AAA.

Pennsauken took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Kiper III hit a solo home run. His 4th home run of the season made the score 4-3, Pennsauken.
