The Port Huron Blitzkrieg scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Syracuse Starks at Port Huron Park. Port Huron pitcher Kensaku Sanu held his own in the contest. Rabi Tamir was called on to finish, recording his 13th save. Port Huron now has a record of 26-22 with the win.

Carlos Macías had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fourth for Port Huron. With the bases loaded and the Blitzkrieg leading 2-0, he hit a 2-run single.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Syracuse manager Homer Robertson. "The effort was great."
