The Baton Rouge Brass downed the Philadelphia Liberty Reserves, 4-2, at Brass Field. The Brass were led by John Smith. Smith was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Baton Rouge reliever Spike Cornett was the winner. His record is now 4-3. Franklin Vaughn took the loss. With the victory, the Brass upped their record to 27-25.
