Toronto pitcher Dong-hoon An had a large part in his team subduing the Toledo Stingers, 4-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. The winning pitcher was An, now 4-3. He tossed 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 3. With the win, the Thunder improved to 25-19.

Douglas Wacher had a big 3-run home run for the Thunder in the top of the first inning. With Toronto leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a knuckle curve from 38-year old right-handed pitcher Thomas Zachary and punished it. The result was his 7th home run of the season, which put the Thunder on top, 4-0.

"Dong-hoon had good arm action, good stuff," said Toronto manager Jordan Smith.
